'Vision of Sound' is a formulation of the relationship between the 'being seen' and the 'being heard'. The inspiration for the work is a verse that appears in Biblical Mount Sinai:
"And the people were seeing the voices ... and the sound of the shofar". (Exodus, 20; 14)
The 'Vision of Sound' is formulated in two ways;
by expressing sound throw the dynamic and winding form of blown glass,
and throw writing, which is the visual expression of speech, the sign of sound.
'Vision of Sound' was designed as well for Israel's Presidential Residence, with a verse describing the shofar in the Jubilee year engraved within it:
"Then shalt thou make proclamation with the blast of the shofar ... and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." (Leviticus, chapter 25, verses 9-10)
The Idea of the glass-shofar is to voice a nation in a worldwide dimension, as the glass and its movement symbolize the voice, the blast, and the shofar symbolizes a call for freedom for all people.
